But first a CTS-V wagon.
I’ve been trying to find a few podcasts to listen to when driving to/from school and have had some success. The commute is on average 20 minutes so something that is under 30 minutes is ideal. I’ve been looking for some quality automotive ones within that range but the closest are Hooniverse and NPR Car Talk. Which both tend to both run closer to an hour. I enjoy those two in addition to Untitled Car Showof course, but hate having to stop part way through.
Right now my subscriptions include Spilled Milk, Planet Money, The Art of Manliness, Skeptoid, How To Do Everything, and the automotive ones mentioned above. I would like some shorter automotive ones but anything you think is under 30 minutes and interesting is appreciated. Any recommendations Oppo?
As thanks, have more wagon burnouts.

Except that Volvo. I couldn't resist diesel Volvo tire carnage.

The only car podcast I can recommend (that isn’t listed) is The Smoking Tire’s podcast... HOWEVER, I listen to the Dave and Chuck The Freak podcast every day. They’re a local morning show by me in the Detroit area, but I don’t wake up early enough to listen live. Nothing to do with cars, but I think it’s probably the funniest talk show I’ve ever encountered.
Though Car Talk isn’t around anymore, I think their podcasts are still up if you haven’t already gone through them.
Hope that helps!

Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me: the episodes are longer but the episodes are cut into segments and is generally pretty funny.
The Virgin Podcast: entertainment value varies by episode, but some are pretty interesting. Episodes are anywhere from 25 minutes to an hour.

I’m no help on Podcasts but have you considered books? Iv’e been carpooling for a few years now and Iv’e lost track of how many books we have listened to. I almost look forward to getting stuck in traffic just so we can listen to more than usual.

I have a hard time w/ auto-related podcasts for some reason, but I’ve been enjoying Everyday Driver Car Debate lately. They have a youtube channel as well.
Unfortunately, their shows run about an hour in length, and most any podcast i’ve come across lasts about that long or longer. So i guess that means more time driving? :)
Otherwise, some fun podcasts I listen to:
Dan Carlin’s Hardcore History
Jack Of All Nerds Show
Mysterious Universe
Radiolab
The Black Tapes
Guys We Fucked
The Duncan Trussell Family Hour
Joe Rogan Experience
The Tim Ferriss Show

It’s a consideration but space on my phone is limited. I do listen to books occasionally if there’s something I really want to “read”.

I’d almost recommend an old Ipod or Audible. Even if you have read ‘The Martian’ already I would highly recommend the Audio Book. The voice actor does a great job.

I might see if my old iPod is still working, forgot about that. Thanks for the reminder, haha!
I generally prefer nonfiction, currently reading Kitchen Confidential and looking to see if my library offers the Modern Romance by Aziz Ansari audiobook.

Thanks for the list, I’ll have to go through these and see if any catch my interest. Some sound really good just from the title.

There’s also The Smoking Tire podcast, but their episodes usually run for around 2 hours.

I like a lot of the “stuff” podcasts, stuff you should know, stuff you missed in history class, stuff they don't want you to know, car stuff is okay. Skeptics guide to the universe, talk nerdy for some good science content.
